WELCOME TO SCARBOROUGH & DISTRICT RIDING CLUB

The idea of Scarborough and District Riding Club was first formed in 1972 whilst two friends were out riding together. The founder members first organised picnic rides and rallies and then as word spread and membership snowballed, Scarborough and District Riding Club was born.

We are one of the oldest clubs in North Yorkshire and we are committed to making riding and competing fun. We aim to accommodate all members’ needs and the club organises a variety of events and training for horses and riders of all abilities, as well as competing in team qualifiers for the riding club championships. We have a ‘something for everyone’ approach and most of all we want Scarborough and District to be a riding club where everyone feels welcome.
